Peterborough Motel

 Selling a motel in June 2007 at the height of good times was a far different scenario to selling in February 2010 post GFC. But that's what Chris Rix in conjunction with Landmarks, Hugh Worrall of Timboon managed to do for us.

 We had owned Peterborough Motel for over 15 years and felt it was time to look to retirement. Unfortunately the developer who purchased the property went belly up along with the economy as the GFC kicked in, so two years later when the call-option agreement expired, an undeterred Chris Rix and Hugh Worrell set about re-selling for us and within two months had a purchaser and settlement. We know that very few properties in the million plus price bracket have moved in the town.We, however, are retired and grateful for their efforts and professionalism.
